dry spot

Good day all!!
Have you ever hit a dry spot in the road. I think of when we were kids and sleding on the city streets. Sometime the snow would melt or dissappear for some reason and you wouldn't see it when you started down the hill but when you hit it the sled stopped dead in its tracks and you kept going. Well the narrow path is the same way. The Holy Spirit takes you down the path showing you things in the word that you have never seen before even tho you have read it many times. Then you seem to hit that dry spot in the road and come to a dead stop!! You try to figure out what you did to tick Him off and stop talking to you. Don't fall into that trap!! Most of the time He is just trying to get you to walk in what He has showed you till it becomes 2nd nature to you and you no longer have to concentrate on doing it. He doesn't just give you revelation so you can store it away to dazzle others with your knowledge. He gives you things to improve your walk and that doesn't happen over night. It sometimes is a long process. So when you hit that dry spot and quit sliding on the road. pick yourself up, go back and get on the sled and ask what you are to be doing!! He is always faithfull to answer but you may have to listen closely and for longer than you would like!!
